Open the in-game Settings menu from the gear icon at the top of the screen, type the code into the text box, and press Claim. Codes are case-sensitive and older ones stop working with each update, so redeem new codes as soon as they appear in the official Discord.

Luck is a reroll system rather than a flat percentage bonus. Every point of Luck rolls the rarity number again and the game keeps the lowest result, so more Luck means more rerolls toward rare ore. The system can also weaken or skip Luck on a given item, which is why a huge Luck stack still produces the occasional common mineral.

The Dinosaur Skull is the single Exotic-tier find in Prospecting!, sitting above the Mythic layer. Minerals run across seven rarity tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Exotic — and value climbs steeply at the top, so knowing which deposit a target ore spawns in matters more than raw digging speed.

Early on, Size Boost is the cheapest multiplier because sale price is driven by mineral weight. Mid game, park a sluice in the best water your Toughness allows so it keeps gathering while you are offline, and stack Sell Boost before a big selling session instead of selling ore as you dig it.

Buy the Plastic Pan and Iron Shovel as soon as the merchant lets you, then work toward the Silver Pan and Reinforced Shovel at Rubble Creek Sands. After that, upgrade mostly to raise Toughness, because Toughness is the hard gate that decides which deposits you can dig at all.

Yes. A sluice placed in a river fills with minerals on a timer and keeps collecting after you log off, which makes it the game's idle income engine. Move it to better water as your shovel Toughness improves, and upgrade the sluice itself to raise its Luck, Capacity and Efficiency.

Community rankings put the Fossilized and Dragonflame gear at the top because they unlock Toughness 5 deposits, with the Worldshaker pan and Divine shovel as strong mid-to-late picks. Cheaper sets such as Silver and Meteoric gear are fine stepping stones, but you should not over-invest in them.

Prospecting! ships updates nearly every week, and the developer posts patch notes and new codes in the official Discord first. Global events run on a fixed rotation roughly every thirty minutes, including Meteor Showers, Solar Flares and Sandstorms, so there is almost always something live.
